The best start is to get pre-qualified by a lender. The Progressive Real Estate Groups can assist you with this or you can schedule this time on your own. This will give you the estimated closing costs and the price range you should be looking.
2. Do I need to do my own research?
Doing your own research is helpful to give you an idea of what your money can buy. Also your Progressive Real Estate Groups agent has access to additional listings and additional information that he/she will be letting you know about.
3. Am I only going to look at listings that your company and group have?
Our job is to show you all of the houses that fit your needs, regardless of who may have the listing.
4. Can I still look at For Sale By Owners?
Absolutely. Most owners will work with agents and are glad for us to show their home.
5. How do I decide which house is best for me?
Your Progressive Real Estate Groups agent is your best guide to giving you pertinent information about comparables sold in the area, current listings, and market conditions. No question is a dumb question. Remember your agent is your reference library in person!
6. How do I get the paperwork done?
Your Progressive Real Estate Groups agent will be filling out all of the paperwork necessary to make an offer on the property you choose.
7. How is the inspection going to get ordered, the attorney scheduled, and the other thousand things that have to happen?
